We would like to invite you to join the Ocean Reef Chamber of Commerce. Simply complete the Membership Application for 2010-2011, fax it back to (305) 367-2799 and submit your check for $350.00. The additional business requirements for proof of insurance and licensing requested by the Ocean Reef Community Association are necessary to complete the application process.

As members of the Ocean Reef Chamber of Commerce, we attend monthly luncheon meetings on the first Wednesday of the month. At each luncheon we are offered an opportunity to introduce ourselves and our business, network with fellow Ocean Reef businesses and discuss issues affecting our members. Being a member of the Ocean Reef Chamber of Commerce is a great way to promote your business and to reach out to the Ocean Reef community. Upon receipt of your completed application and dues, we will include your company name and all of your contact information on our website located at www.chamberatoceanreef.org and you will also be included in our community referral program. You will also be entitled to a 20% discount on the ORCA Business Fee.

One of the primary goals for the upcoming year is to make the Ocean Reef community more aware of the existence of the Chamber and the benefits of utilizing companies who are members. We are have our own Membership Directory for distribution to ORC Homeowners. As a member of the Chamber, your company information will be included. I strongly urge you to join with our officers and directors to become an important part of the Chamber’s efforts to serve its members and the broader Ocean Reef Community in which we live and conduct our business.

All companies are required to provide the following documentation to the Welcome
Center in order to work on property.
   1. Liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000. The insurance form must list the
        following information as certificate holder:

            Waivers to the insurance requirement may be granted on a case by case basis.
              For further information contact the Welcome Center.
    2. State License, State Registration, Monroe County certificate of competency in your
        specific career field.  (Note: If there is not a specific license in your career field,
        you are not responsible for this requirement).
    3. County occupational license for your business. (Note: If your Business is state
        registered; you must provide a Monroe County occupational license).

   4. Proof of worker's compensation on your insurance form, in accordance with state law.
    5. Proof of registration and insurance for all company vehicles.

            $155 Off-Site Companies                                                         20% discount = $ 31
           $450 On-Site Small Companies (3 employees or less)            20% discount = $ 90

Business fees are due by June 1 of each year. You may mail your payment when you
  receive your bill from ORCA or pay in person at the Welcome Center.
